Dumb Free Offer Sites

you know the ones i’m talking about. “get this uber cool thing free… as long as you sign away your first born.” or some equally dumb, unusable crap like that.

but, i’ll be damned if i haven’t stumbled across a cool one! go here: notebooks4free.com

yeah. i’ll wait.

so, right now, one of their offers is to buy $30 in postage (yep. stuff you’d actually use.) in a machine from pitney bowes. cancel sometime in the next 90 days… or hell. even keep the service. it’s postage! then, get some of your friends to do it too.

you know what everyone gets for free then? (or at worst for $30… )

one of these: Alienware Area-51® m7700

or a bunch of other high-end gaming laptops.

yup. completely and utterly crazy. it’s a “free laptop” site that’s not actually stupid.

so, since i’m not sure how long they’ll have the postage one, go sign up and tell all your friends! (tj, i’m lookin’ at you!) tho, the hosting one doesn’t look terrible either. but, dude — the postage one is for real, a laptop for free!

Wow, this is actually a lot like free iPods (which actually was true) except even more hardcore! I hope you get it.

i know! and, for real, who’s not going to spend $30 on postage? especially with christmas coming up. i mean, it costs more than that to mail presents to my brother’s family on the east coast!

    woot!

I am confident that you won’t get a free laptop simply for purchasing $30 in postage. I notice there is a “referral” number that is in the link you provided, which I’m guessing is tired directly to you. If you refer enough people that actually purchase stuff, then you get the laptop, right? If this isn’t the case, why have the referral number in the link? An even better question, why should I (or anyone else for that matter) help you get a free laptop?

    yep. you’re correct. it’s a referral thing.

as to why? when you “help me” get a laptop, you sign up for one yourself. it’s an “i scratch your back, you scratch mine” kinda thing.

but, the best part is that it’s not something retarded that drives it. even if i don’t get any referrals and don’t get my laptop? well. i don’t have to drive down to the post office to get postage to mail all our christmas cards this year. it’s money i’d have already spent.

might as well sign up for something cool along the way, right?

I got sick of the fake freebie sites where you have to do 50 million things before you get the offer so I made my own free sample site and it is only real links to real free samples!
